In 1976, I began working for an electrical contractor. I attended MATC (Milwaukee Area Technical College) full time for one year, while working for the contractor part time. I eventually worked for a couple of other contractors. In 1982, I took the City of Milwaukee electrical contractor's exam, and passed. In 1986, Wisconsin created a statewide exam for Master Electricians. If you passed the State exam, you did not have to take a test in each municipality. The municipality had to accept the State credential. I was the 43rd person to be credentialed as a Master Electrician in Wisconsin. In 1982, I began working as a self employed electrical contractor, and in 1983, I started Affordable Electric Inc. Since 1987, I have been located in Mequon, Wisconsin U.S.A.. I started out in OLD residential properties, and have expanded into commercial & industrial work. In short, I can best be described as a general practitioner. I have considerable knowledge of the electrical trade, and will do my best to share it with others.
